This ledger covers the period March 1908-July 1916. As the account book of final entry, it summarizes transactions pertaining to Edison's companies and business operations, royalties, laboratory suppliers, and the Fort Myers laboratory. Unlike the earlier ledgers in this series, this book does not include experimental, Glenmont, or stock and bond accounts. These appear in separate subsidiary ledgers. The spine is stamped "General Ledger  No. 9. Thomas A. Edison" and is labeled "March 1, 1908 To July 31, 1916." The front cover is stamped "General Ledger  No. 9  Thomas A. Edison." The book contains 373 numbered pages and an index; many pages are blank.
