Litigation Series -- Quadruplex Case, Volume 70: Answer of Thomas A. Edison
[QCB03]

Edison's answer to the original bill of complaint appears in Volume 70—the first of three volumes of litigation records in Atlantic and Pacific Telegraph Company v. George B. Prescott, Western Union Telegraph Company, Lemuel W. Serrell and Thomas A. Edison. The so-called Quadruplex Case involved rights and title to seven Edison patent applications pertaining to duplex and quadruplex telegraphy. The document is bound out of order in Volume 70 between pages 736-737 of Plaintiff's Testimony but is presented here in its proper sequence.
