This folder contains material pertaining to the suit brought by Edison against Frederic M. Prescott in the New Jersey Court of Chancery. The case was initiated in June 1899 and involved Prescott's misrepresentation of himself as Edison's agent. It was a companion suit to Edison Phonograph Company v. Frederic M. Prescott, which involved infringement of Edison's U.S. Patents 386,974 and 393,466.
