This scrapbook covers the years 1873-1889, but most of the clippings are for the mid-I 870s. The material relates primarily to multiple telegraphy. Several of the clippings for 1888 deal with Elisha Gray's telautograph and his claim to have invented the telephone. There are 138 numbered pages.
