This series contains correspondence and other documents relating to the Edison Pioneers, an organization of early Edison employees established in 1918. Some of the documents date from the 1870s and 1880s and were generated while the individuals were in Edison's employ. Others items date from the 1920s and 1930s and consist of reminiscences collected for use in Henry Ford's reconstruction of Menlo Park at Dearborn, Michigan, and for curator Francis Jehl's many publications about Edison's early days, including the Menlo Park Reminiscences (3 vols.). Related material can be found in the "Edison Pioneers" record group at the Edison National Historical Park, West Orange, N. J.
