These two letters from author and naturalist John Burroughs to poet, editor, and diplomat Robert U. Johnson are from March and June 1914. In the March letter Burroughs describes his meeting with Edison and Henry Ford at Edison's winter home in Fort Myers, Florida, and gives his opinion of both the inventor and the industrialist. The June letter recounts a visit to Ford's Detroit home.
