These documents cover the period April-June 1878. They consist of correspondence from George H. Bliss, general manager of Edison's electric pen and duplicating press business, to Gardiner G. Hubbard, president of the Bell Telephone Co. and the Edison Speaking Phonograph Co. The letters deal mainly with the organization of the telephone business and proposals by Bliss for marketing phonographs and electric pens.
