This is a list of the thirty-six correspondence books that appear on reels 1-5 and 9-14 of the Charles Edison Fund microfilm. (There is no Book #33.) The title of each book on the list has been taken from the information sheet preceding that book on the microfilm. Additional editorial comments appear in brackets. The correspondents mentioned in the titles and editorial comments should not be regarded as all-inclusive. Some of the original letters reproduced on the microfilm are still in the possession the Charles Edison Fund. Numerous other letters, along with genealogical files and other material, were donated to the Thomas Edison National Historical Park (ENHP) in 1992.

The letters are numbered from 1-1 (Document 1 on Reel 1) through 14-7729 (Document 7729 on Reel 14). It should also be noted that the Charles Edison Fund record group in the ENHP archives has an almost complete series of letters numbered from 15-7730 through 15-8149. These letters were apparently prepared for microfilming, but there is no evidence that Reel 15 was ever filmed.
