Charles Edison Fund Collection, Newark, N.J.: Miller Family Papers -- Miller, Marcia B. and Levi L., Jr.
[X018D6]

[These two letters were added in September 2012.]

These two letters, which cover the period November 1931-January 1932, are by Marcia Lucinda Bostwick Miller( 1851-1945?) and Levi Lewis Miller, Jr., aunt and cousin of Mina Miller Edison. Both letters are addressed to Mina. A letter by Levi Jr., written in November 1931, offers condolences after the death of Thomas A. Edison. An undated letter by Marcia, most likely written in January 1932, describes the final illness of Levi Lewis Miller, Sr. (1842-1931), who died on December 26, 1931.

The letters are from Book #11 on the Charles Edison Fund microfilm. Four letters by Marcia B. Miller, also from Book #11, can be found in the Family Records Series in Part V of the Thomas A. Edison Papers microfilm edition. Click here for a list of all the correspondence books on the CEF microfilm.
