Charles Edison Fund Collection, Newark, N.J.: Other Correspondents -- Sloane, Alice Eyre and Alice Mary
[X018E10]

[These two letters were added in September 2012.]

These two letters are both from 1929. An undated letter by Alice Eyre Sloane (ca. 1855-1952), written in May 1929, comments on daughter-in-law Madeleine Edison Sloane's recent gall bladder operation. A September 1929 letter by Alice's daughter, Alice Sloane Anderson (1888-1961), remarks on Thomas Edison's recent illness.

The letters are from Book #11 on the Charles Edison Fund microfilm. A few additional letters by members of the Sloane family can be found in Books #4 and #11. Click here for a list of all the correspondence books on the CEF microfilm.
