Charles Edison Fund Collection, Newark, N.J.: Other Correspondents -- Osterhout, Anna and Olga
[X018E6]

[One letter was added to this collection in September 2012.]

These letters from 1929 and 1931 are both addressed to Mina Miller Edison. The first letter is by Anna Landstrom Osterhout (b. 1874), mother-in-law of Theodore Edison. It expresses concern about Madeleine Edison Sloane's recent gall bladder operation. The second letter is by Anna's daughter, Olga Osterhout Sears (1905-1992). It is a letter of sympathy written a few days after Thomas Edison’s death and two weeks after Olga's marriage to Harold B. Sears.

The letters are from Books #11 and #25 on the Charles Edison Fund microfilm. A few additional letters by Anna and Olga Osterhout can be found in these books. Click here for a list of all the correspondence books on the CEF microfilm.
