These documents cover the years 1871-1886. Included is an 1871 agreement between George Little, a British inventor of an automatic telegraph system, and George Harrington, a financial supporter of Edison's automatic telegraph inventions. Also included are letters from Edison to his father Samuel Edison, laboratory associate Francis R. Upton, and journalist William A. Croffut. In addition, there is an incandescent lamp drawing by Edison from March 1886, along with an undated memorandum, probably by John F. Randolph, listing expenses for the central station at Lawrence, Massachusetts.
