This 1925 letter to Louis Wiley of the New York Times, contains Edison's recollections of his early experiments with duplex telegraphy in Rochester, N.Y. Attached is a clipping of a newspaper article, based on the information in the letter to Wiley, which appeared in the Times a few days after Edison’s death.
