These letters by Edward Burkett Miller (1859-1936), older brother of Mina Miller Edison, cover the period December 1897-October 1898. Several letters refer to Edward's interest in finding a wife (he remained unmarried until 1919). One letter comments on his financial difficulties and explains "that is why I have not married long before this." There are also references to visits by Mina to Akron in March and August 1898, Thomas Edison's ore milling activities, and the final illness of Jane Miller Marvin. Courtesy of David E. E. Sloane.
