This 1883 letter from Edison to George H. Warren (1856-1943) pertains to the installation of an isolated lighting station at the Metropolitan Opera House. A cofounder and original director of the Metropolitan Opera House Co. of New York, Ltd., Warren was a member of the building committee and, beginning on May 23, 1883, vice president of the company.
