The entries relate to gold and iron separation. Included are designs of experimental ore separators, notes on ore roasting as a method of magnetization, and entries on electrolytic separation. Rough records for many of these transcribed entries can be found in N-87-06-10. The book contains 249 numbered pages, most of which are blank. The last page used contains the following notation in faint pencil: "not continued this way because - not desired."
