As a globally recognized research network dedicated to the study of innovation and its application in the 21st century, we are uniquely positioned to authenticate the innovative spirit of the Edison Awards, which highlight Edison’s innovation model. Edison Achievement Award
The Edison Achievement Award recognizes various distinguished executives who have made a significant and lasting contribution to innovation, marketing and human centered design throughout their careers. This honor is bestowed among the elite of American innovators; the Edison Achievement Award Winners’ accomplishments serve as an inspiration to their peers. The 2010 Edison Achievement Award winners will be announced in October, 2010.
Edison Green Award
With Green technologies and sustainable solutions playing a large role in the redevelopment of Main Street, the Edison Green Award™ will recognize an organization’s commitment to developing sustainable solutions and Green business models. The Edison Green Award™ will be used as a platform to identify efforts to reduce the community’s carbon foot print, create Green Collar jobs through new methods of innovation and improve community health and self sufficiency. Edison Best New Product Award
The Edison Best New Product Awards are among the most prestigious accolades honoring excellence in new product development, marketing, design and innovation. These awards symbolize the persistence and excellence personified by Thomas Alva Edison, while also strengthening America’s drive to remain at the forefront of innovation, creativity, and ingenuity in the global economy. Last year’s event was attended by 200 innovators at the Computer History Museum in Palo Alto and was an instant hit. We were thrilled and overwhelmed with the response. The caliber of attendees was extraordinary. This year the awards are going to be in NYC, April 29, 2010 and we would like to invite you to get involved.

The Edison Awards have been recognized as America’s innovation award taking the time-tested characteristics of innovation from earlier visionaries and writing a new chapter in American innovation history. Launched in 1987 by the American Marketing Association to recognize excellence in the development and launch of new products, these awards are named after Thomas Alva Edison (1847-1931). Edison’s extraordinary new product development methods garnered him over 1,093 U.S. patents and made him a household name across the world.
