"The Dangers of Electric Lighting"

Luna Stage will present the world premiere of "The Dangers of Electric Lighting," by Ben Clawson, a revealing new play about Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla and their battle to control the future of electricity. On <b>Thursday, Oct. 27<b>, Paul Israel will discuss the development of the documentary legacy of America's most prolific inventor and innovator.

Preview performances run Oct. 13 through Oct. 20, with opening night on Oct. 21. The play runs through Nov. 13. Performances are on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets range from $20 to $30 per person (opening night with reception is $35 per ticket), and can be purchased in person, or by calling 973-395-5551, or by visiting the Luna Stage website at www.lunastage.org. The performance on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 3 p.m. will be accessible for people with hearing loss through the use of open-captioning.
