Menlo Park in 1876.

This map shows the planned lots and few existing buildings in Menlo Park, which was an unsuccessful real estate development when Edison moved there. He bought the land office (bottom center) for his house and built his laboratory, library/office, and other buildings just up the hill.

Clicking on the arrows will lead to images of the house or laboratory, or you can see Menlo Park on a map of New Jersey.
